Holidays, Here I Come!

Thank God its the SUMMER HOLIDAYS! I have been waiting to be off school for ages! Seems like forever!

We finished school at 12:00pm yesterday and I met my Grandma to go out for a meal. It was delicious and I went to town aferwards to buy clothes.

The Peacemaker and The Noise are off in 2 weeks so I need to make the most of this while it lasts.
At least they will be occupied, they have stuff to do in this:

It might keep me busy for a bit but It might be too old for me!
Anyway, this is what I thought me and my mum would be doing this holiday:

Instead, we have been doing this:

We have tidied the whole of downstairs, and if my mum lets me, I will take pictures of my work and show them to you.

And let's hope I'm not doing this all the way through the 8 weeks holiday!

Glued to the Computer

The other day, my best friend from school gave me some PC games to install and play on. They were:

The Sims 2 Glamour Life Stuff:

The Sims 2 Teen Style Stuff:

The Sims 2 H&M Fashion Stuff:

And The Sims 2 Family Fun Stuff:

They are really great games if they don't keep crashing like they do on here! So, I decided to make the whole family on it. It was good, and I kept everyone alive before we ran out of food in the fridge...

The Grim Reaper came to my house:

and floated to The Peacemaker. (Normally, you can plead for the loved one back, but it wasn't doing it this time.) Then I died and so did my mum. I kept playing and noticed three tubs on the floor. When i put the mouse on them it said

"Here lies Mum"

"Here lies Fixer"

"Here lies Peacemaker"

As this was at 12:00am I got really scared and had to sleep in my mum's bed. I have never been on the computer this long so you'll be lucky if you ever catch me downtairs on my own ever again!

As you all know, I have some very important exams this week. I have had maths and Religion today. I don't think I have done very well on them though. I have been revising like mad and I haven't had the chance to post.

The Football Fanatic has just got a new phone , the Samsung Soul and so I have ended up with my own battered phone that I lent to her on my last birthday in September. The cheek! My poor old phone has been dropped in puddles, 'accidentally' stood on, and chipped in several places. I am sorry to say this, but I don't think I will be able to fix this one.

This is the damage:

Doesn't look that bad, eh ? Wait ...

Look at this chipping!:

And this is the Football Fanatic's new amazingly beautiful phone:

I'm sure I can con her into buying me a new phone to make up for the damage!

I'm Back!

Sorry I've been this long but I have had sooooooo many revision lists for my summer exam in 2 weeks. I am trying to live up to my sister, The Football Fanatic, who I have just found out had top marks on her 1st year exams. So I am revising all I can to be like her.

The Peacemaker has just finished her SATs. I have been helping her to revise as well. She is so sick of the series of ReviseWise and she said he never wants to hear the stupid woman and that 'aggravating music' ever again. I hope she has got full marks (3 level 5s like me)

Yesterday, I helped The Football Fanatic with her University assignment, even though I'm only in year 7, which was to edit a radio interview. She was useless, she doesn't even know how to turn a computer on let alone do anything technical.

This took me till half past one in the morning to get it absoloutely perfect, and it was really hard to get up this morning - my mum was shouting even louder than she usually does! But it all paid off.

When I got home from school today, I found a bag on my bed with a note, saying:

"OPEN THIS FIXER, IT IS A PRESENT FOR YOU"

I looked insideand found...

A new United shirt!

I hope she wants me to help her next week!

Hurdles, Heart Attacks and Homework

As you all know, I have signed up for the hurdles tryouts. I found out today that I have made the team! I will be going to athletics every Wednesday and I talked my Dad into picking me up even though he doesn't work that night and would much rather be in the Mare and Foal.

It's going quite well with my Dad, he took my mum out lastnight. It's just the rest of my family I worry about.

There's 25 mins to go in the second half of the United v Barcelona match. The stress is too much for me. I've had to come out and leave the Football Fanatic watching it on her own. My mum is pacing the floor somewhere saying 'This isn't entertainment. It's bloody torture'

Oh... just remembered... I haven't done my Technology homework - Draw and describe how to make a Moving Toy - Just right for a Fixer like me!!

In the meantime, I like the look of this book

Catching Up

Sorry I haven't posted since Wednesday. I have had a LOT of homework, you just wouldn't believe the amount.

Anyway, The Cannonball Catholic Award results have been announced. My mum drew with The Crescat if you don't already know, and Adrienne (thanks to me) took a leaping jump on the votes and won by a landslide. Here's to you Adrienne for winning!

The Peacemaker has just said she is running away to join the circus. My mum thinks it's because she's been sent to bed because she wouldn't let The Noise have a go on the Wii. I think it's because she watched Madeline at the weekend and it's given her ideas.

I'd better go and sort it out.

Just Another Hurdle to Get Over

I was late home from school tonight because I was doing track and field tryouts.

I hid behind a door in the changing room and heard this:

PE Teacher 1: 'She's got real talent, that one.'
PE Teacher 2: 'Yeah, she's not like her sisters, is she?'

I asked my mum about it when I got home. She said the Football Fanatic spent five years huddled against the changing room radiator reading 'Heat' magazine, and The Singer is just not cut out for PE, due to her distinct lack of hand-eye co-ordination. (Except when she's throwing a shoe at you, when she has an aim like a sniper and is a crack shot. We've all got the bruises to prove it).

Anyway, I find out this week if I made the hurdles team.
Then I just have to persuade my dad to pick me up every week, even though tonight he said it was like trying to get home from Blackpool on a Bank Holiday Monday.
